Dear Sir and Leaders of our Great Party,
*CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR INAUGURATION*
On behalf of the entire leadership and members of The Progressive Group (TPG), I, Comrade 'Shola Omolola (National Secretary) with the permission of the National Chairman (Prince Wusu Shakirudeen Agiyon), write to warmly congratulate you on your inauguration as the newly Elected State Executive Committee of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos State.
Your emergence to steer the affairs of our party in the Center of Excellence is a development of immense national significance.
Lagos State is not only the commercial nerve center of Nigeria but also the political stronghold and shining light of our great party.
The responsibility you now bear is therefore weighty, and we are confident in the pedigree of the leaders who have been entrusted with this mandate.
The peaceful and rancor free congress that produced your team is a reflection of the political maturity for which Lagos APC is renowned for.
It demonstrates a unified commitment to the "Lagos Model" of progressive governance. A model that has consistently delivered democracy dividends to the masses and set the pace for development across the nation.
As you assume the mantle of leadership, we urge you to build on the enduring legacies of our party leaders and past executives. Your primary task is to further consolidate the unity of our party structures across the 20 Local Government Areas and the 37 Local Council Development Areas.
Under the progressive ideology championed by our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and sustained by the administration of Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Mr. Sellable), the party in Lagos must remain a cohesive, disciplined, and visionary force .
The Progressive Group is particularly pleased with the composition of your Executive, which reflects the inclusive spirit and demographic diversity of Lagos. We are confident that under your leadership, the party will:
1. Deepen Grassroots Engagement: Take our progressive message beyond the political class to the artisans, market men and women, and youth in every ward .
2. Sustain the Legacy of Good Governance: Provide robust support to the state government's T.H.E.M.E.S. plus agenda, ensuring that the developmental strides in infrastructure, transportation, health, and education are effectively communicated to the electorate .
3. Protect the Votes: Fortify the party's mobilization machinery to safeguard our victories and ensure overwhelming mandates in all future elections, especially the 2027 general elections .
4. Promote Internal Harmony: Ensure that every stakeholder from party elders to ward canvassers ate all carried along, leaving no room for discord .
Lagos is the beacon of hope for progressive politics in Nigeria. We must ensure that our light shines ever brighter. Please know that the Progressive Group stands with you as a partner in this mission, ready to support initiatives that strengthen the bond between the party and the good people of Lagos.
Once again, congratulations on your well deserved inauguration.
We wish you a tenure of unparalleled success, unity, and progressive achievements.
Yours in the service of our great party,
E-Signed
Comrade 'Shola Omolola
National Secretary,
The Progressive Group (TPG)
