CDHR CONDEMNS INVASION OF IT'S SECRETARIAT

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) strongly condemns, in the clearest and strongest terms, the criminal act of impersonation, trespass, and deliberate provocation recently carried out by one Yinka Folarin from Ogun State and his accomplices.

These individuals unlawfully intruded into the authentic, legitimate, and duly recognized CDHR National Secretariat situated at No. 43 Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, where they fraudulently took photographs under false pretences in a desperate and ill-conceived attempt to mislead the public and falsely suggest an illegal takeover of the Secretariat.

This action was carried out without authorization, without legal backing, and in total violation of due process, despite firm resistance and objections from Secretariat staff. Such conduct represents a direct assault on organizational integrity, public trust, and the rule of law, and will not be treated lightly.

For the avoidance of doubt, the CDHR National Secretariat remains intact, fully functional, and under the undisputed leadership and authority of the National President, Comrade Debo Adeniran. Any claim, publication, or impression to the contrary is false, malicious, and deliberately engineered to deceive the public.

CDHR hereby issues a final and unequivocal warning to Yinka Folarin and his associates to immediately desist from further acts of trespass, impersonation, misrepresentation, or intimidation. Any further attempt to repeat this unlawful adventure will be resisted by all lawful means, and those involved will be held personally and collectively responsible for the consequences, particularly where such actions endanger the safety, peace, or operations of other lawful occupants of the premises.

Let it be clearly understood that CDHR is not an institution that can be hijacked, bullied, or fraudulently appropriated by desperate elements. We will not tolerate rascality, impersonation, or criminal opportunism masquerading as activism.

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights CDHR remains unwavering in its commitment to justice, accountability, transparency, and the defense of democratic values. We call on security agencies, regulatory authorities, civil society organizations, and the general public to take note of this development and to disregard any false narratives being peddled by unauthorized persons.

Signed:

Comrade Debo Adeniran

CDHR National President

Comrade Deacon Jeremiah Onyibe

CDHR National Publicity Secretary
