Governor Agbu Kefas Engages APC Youth Stakeholders Ahead of His Impending Defection to the Ruling Party
In a bold and strategic political move, for the first time, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, on Wednesday met with critical APC youth stakeholders at the T.Y. Danjuma House in Asokoro, Abuja, as consultations intensify ahead of his imminent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, which drew key youth leaders and influencers within the APC, centered on building a united political front for the rapid transformation of Taraba State through stronger collaboration with the Federal Government.
Governor Kefas made it clear that Taraba cannot afford to remain isolated from the mainstream of national politics. His decision to realign politically is driven by the higher goal of ensuring greater development, security, and federal attention for the good people of Taraba State.
The APC youth stakeholders commended the governor for his foresight, courage, and readiness to place the collective interest of Tarabans above partisan considerations. They described his impending move as a masterstroke that will reposition Taraba for progress and prosperity.
