CAIDOV CELEBRATES FIRST LADY, SENATOR OLUREMI TINUBU @ 66
The leadership and entire members of the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) join millions of Nigerians to celebrate a humanitarian icon, Mother of the Nation and First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she marks her 66th Birthday Anniversary today, September 21, 2026.
CAIDOV, as an organization at the forefront of the fight against injustice, domestic violence, gender-based violence and all forms of abuse against women and children, says it has found in the First Lady a true champion and advocate.
In a statement personally signed by its Executive Director, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, CAIDOV highlighted the First Lady's inspiring humanitarian gestures:
"Your Excellency, at CAIDOV, your life's work resonates deeply with our mandate. You have been a voice for the voiceless long before becoming First Lady.
Through your Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), you have demonstrated rare compassion: empowering thousands of women traders and farmers; providing scholarships for indigent children; supporting the elderly with monthly stipends and healthcare; equipping hospitals; reaching out to IDP camps, orphanages, widows and persons with disabilities; and most importantly for us at CAIDOV, championing the fight against domestic violence, sexual abuse and gender-based violence, while promoting economic justice for women.
As a former Senator for 12 years, your constituency interventions quietly lifted thousands. As First Lady, you have scaled that compassion to a national level.
"At 66, you remain an icon of justice, empathy and motherly love. You are indeed the Mother of the Nation."
CAIDOV prayed for the First Lady's continued good health, longer life and more strength to continue her humanitarian service and to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in his Renewed Hope Agenda.
