CONDOLENCE LETTER ON THE DEMISE OF COMRADE EMMANUEL UGBOAJA ESQ, GENERAL SECRETARY, NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS

The leadership and entire membership of the Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria, MOUN, received with profound shock and deep sorrow the news of the passing of Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja Esq, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

Comrade Ugboaja Esq was an outstanding labour leader, a tireless advocate for workers' rights, and a dependable pillar of the Congress. His commitment, wisdom and selfless service to the Nigerian working class and to the ideals of trade unionism remain indelible.

We recall his contributions to strengthening the labour movement and his dedication to the protection of workers' welfare and dignity. His demise is indeed a great loss not only to the NLC but to the entire labour movement in Nigeria.

At this moment of grief, we, on behalf of MOUN, extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to you, the National Administrative Council, the Central Working Committee and the entire Congress.

We pray that the Almighty God in His infinite mercy will grant the soul of our departed comrade eternal rest, and grant you, the family and the entire Congress the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
