*APC UK Chapter Endorses President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Second Term*
The All Progressives Congress (APC) United Kingdom Chapter has formally endorsed the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office.
The endorsement was announced during a special dinner organised to round off the President’s state visit to the United Kingdom.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Tunde Doherty, Chairman of the APC UK Chapter and Chairman of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC), led APC supporters and diaspora groups in expressing their strong support for the President’s continued leadership and the Renewed Hope agenda.
The event attracted several prominent government officials, party leaders, and distinguished guests. Among those present were the First Lady of Kwara State, Her Excellency Ambassador Olufolake AbdulRazaq; the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; and the Minister for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande.
Also in attendance was the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Members of the National Assembly present included distinguished Senators Osita Izunaso, Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun, and Francis Fadahunsi, while Fuad Kayode Laguda represented the House of Representatives.
The Chairman of APC in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, alongside Hon. Mutiu Are, also graced the occasion, further adding prestige to the evening.
Diaspora support groups were well represented, including the *Renewed Hope Ambassadors*, led by Diaspora Director Hon. Tunde Doherty; *Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (TFIN)* led by Director Hon. Ahmed Bala; and the *City Boys Movement (CBM)* led by Prince Bidemi Akintunde (Stainless) and Friends of PBAT led by Hon. Henry Balogun.
The event also witnessed the presence of several notable personalities from the entertainment industry, led by Nollywood legend Zack Orji, whose attendance added colour and excitement to the evening.
The APC UK Chapter stated that the endorsement reflects the confidence of Nigerians in the diaspora in the leadership of President Tinubu and their continued support for policies and programmes aimed at advancing national development and strengthening Nigeria’s global partnerships.
The dinner served as a fitting conclusion to the President’s successful visit to the United Kingdom and highlighted the strong backing he continues to enjoy among Nigerians living abroad.
