*AMATO LAUNCHES 2026 STICKER*

The Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO) has officially launched its Annual 2026 Sticker for truckers across Lagos State and nationwide.

Priced at ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira only) per pair, the sticker was unveiled and showcased to general members at AMATO’s National Secretariat in Apapa on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

The launch event was witnessed by the National President, Chief Remi Ogungbemi, alongside other senior leaders of the Association.

With the introduction of the 2026 sticker, the 2025 sticker automatically becomes invalid. The new sticker is required to access the NTVOA Prompt Tow-to-Safety rescue service, a key initiative spearheaded by AMATO leadership.

The 2026 sticker serves primarily as an official identification pass that entitles members to the NTVOA Prompt Tow-to-Safety service. This initiative is designed to protect truckers from arbitrary and exorbitant towing charges that have escalated significantly in recent times during vehicle breakdowns.

In addition, the sticker provides enhanced visibility and protection for members against undue harassment and extortion by both state and non-state actors.

All members are strongly urged to obtain the 2026 sticker without delay and complete the required form at the secretariat. This information is essential for updating the association’s database, enabling the committee, led by Alhaji Gani Femisun to deliver more efficient and targeted services to members.

Drivers are reminded to strictly observe safety regulations, refrain from drug abuse, and uphold responsible road behaviour at all times.

*AMATO… PROGRESS!!!*
