WITH EVERY PROMOTION, WE BUILD A SMARTER, MORE RESILIENT, AND MORE DEDICATED AIR FORCE — CAS

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has congratulated newly promoted Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), emphasizing that each promotion represents renewed strength, discipline, and national confidence in the Force’s mission to defend Nigeria. Speaking on the 2025 promotion exercise conducted in line with the Service’s annual cycle, the CAS described it as more than an administrative routine but a defining moment that reinforces merit, professionalism, and devotion to duty.

Air Marshal Aneke reaffirmed that the promotion process was transparent and merit-driven, consistent with the standards of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. He assured that personnel who have completed the required technical or professional courses would be considered in subsequent mustering and upgrading exercises. The CAS urged the newly promoted personnel to see their advancement as both recognition and responsibility, reminding them that “promotion is not just about rising in rank; it is about rising to greater expectations.”

Reiterating his leadership philosophy anchored on motivation, mentorship, and morale building, Air Marshal Aneke noted that the strength of the NAF lies in its personnel. He emphasized that a motivated and well-trained workforce is vital to sustaining the Force’s operational edge in modern warfare and ensuring the protection of Nigerian citizens from emerging security threats. The CAS maintained that when personnel are inspired and equipped, their precision in battle improves, their resolve strengthens, and their impact in defending the nation deepens. He further charged the newly promoted officers to let their new ranks reflect humility, commitment, and renewed dedication to the nation's service, as the NAF continues to soar higher in professionalism, patriotism, and purpose.
