Surulere Fiesta 2025 Beckons
All leads to the 2025 edition of the Surulere Fiesta being sponsored by the Progressive Group. According to the organizers, the event is more like a statement of the values and traditions of what the Surulere community represents.
"Surulere Fiesta 2025 is more than an event to us. It feels like a statement, a heartbeat, a reminder of what this community represents. And the Progressive Group stands firmly behind it. Not from the sidelines, not with half-interest, but with full conviction and love for everything that lifts the image of Surulere".
The event which will last from the 8th - 14th of December 2025 is meant to unify Surulere residents notwithstanding their different tendencies and affiliations for a true reflection of the Surulere spirit.
Hon Wusu Shakiru stated, "We have always believed that unity is not just a slogan. It is work. It is presence. It is showing up for anything that celebrates our people, our culture, our talent and our shared story. So this fiesta already belongs to us, for us in the Progressive Group, this isn’t a wait for invitation moment. We are ready to support, to collaborate, to strengthen the vision and to help make the carnival a true reflection of Surulere’s spirit".
