Studied at the University of Jos (1984–1987), called to the bar in 1988.

Earned an LLM (1993) and PhD (2007) from the University of Jos.


PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT 


Professor of Law at the University of Jos, specializing in Company Law, Law of Evidence, Corporate Governance, and Privatisation Law.

Became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in September 2014.


CURRENT ROLES 


 Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at the University of Jos; Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Osun State.


ACADEMIC CAREER


Began academic career in 1989 after NYSC at Bauchi State Publishing Corporation (1988–1989).


Held positions at UNIJOS: Chairman of Committee of Deans and Directors (2012–2014), Dean of Faculty of Law (2008–2014), Head of Public Law (2006–2008).

Member of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Governing Council.
