Made in Nigeria Project Office To Showcase Made in Nigeria Products at COP 29








The Made in Nigeria Project Office domiciled in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) has declared its readiness to showcase made in Nigeria Products, innovations, projects, goods and services at the upcoming World Climate Change Summit scheduled for Baku Azerbaijan from the 11th - 22nd of November, 2024.

Addressing a packed audience which included businessmen and women, civil society organizations and the media in Lagos South West Nigeria, the Made in Nigeria Project Office team comprised of the National Coordinator of the Made in Nigeria Project Office, Honourable Nwabueze George in company of Mr Oladunjoye Musliu of the International Organization Department (IOD) of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Niyi Odekanyi the Chief Cultural Officer (CCO) of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy and Ms Titi Akosa the executive director of Centre for 21st Century Issues and Lagos State Coordinator of the Made in Nigeria Project Office, honourable Nwabueze George spoke at length on the Made in Nigeria Project Office goal, mission and vision of aggressively embarking on the function of marketing Nigeria to the world in line with the mandate of climate change principles.

He enumerated the fact that the Made in Nigeria Project Office main goal is to sell Nigerian businesses, ideas, innovations, projects, goods and services to the world at COP 29 in Baku Azerbaijan 

He called for the support and collaboration of Nigerian business men and women, innovators, manufacturers of goods and services, artists, food vendors, ministries, departments and agencies to take advantage of the opportunity being provided by the Made in Nigeria Project Office at the Nigeria government pavilion to showcase Nigeria at COP 29.

Speaking in the same vein, Mr. Oladunjoye Musliu, corroborated the fact that while Nigeria was going to COP 29 as part of its commitment to addressing issues around climate change which is real and threatening the existence of humanity and the earth, that there is the business angle to it, which the Nigerian government and people must take advantage of at the forthcoming event in Azerbaijan.

Mr. Niyi Odekanyi on his part, highlighted the fact that Nigeria will be going to the climate summit to showcase it's huge arts, culture and entertainment potentials which has been globally recognized.

Honourable Nwabueze George, solicited the support and cooperation of the participants and Nigerians in general, to key into the agenda of the Made in Nigeria Project Office, in order to expand the scope of Nigeria's business potentials and innovations in all spheres and to be able to compete globally through her participation at the climate change summit in Baku Azerbaijan.
