**Re: APC Ethnic Youth Groups in Lagos State Advocate for Peaceful Engagement and Reject Violence**

We, the undersigned representatives of various ethnic youth groups in Lagos State, write to express our unequivocal stance against any form of violent protest within our beloved state. As the future leaders and active participants in the socio-economic development of Lagos, we recognize the importance of maintaining peace and stability to foster growth and harmony in our diverse communities.

Lagos State is a melting pot of cultures, traditions, and ethnicities, making it a unique and vibrant place to live and work. However, this diversity also requires a commitment to mutual respect, understanding, and non-violent conflict resolution. Recent events have underscored the potential for unrest and the detrimental impact it can have on our society. Violence not only endangers lives but also disrupts economic activities, hampers development, and sows discord among different groups.

We firmly believe that dialogue and constructive engagement are the most effective means of addressing grievances and achieving lasting solutions. We call on all youth and community members to channel their energy and resources towards positive actions that contribute to the betterment of Lagos State. This includes participating in community service, engaging in peaceful advocacy, and supporting initiatives that promote unity and development.

As ethnic youth leaders, we pledge to work collaboratively with the government, security agencies, and other stakeholders to prevent violence and promote peace. We are committed to organizing forums, workshops, and outreach programs to educate our peers on the importance of non-violent protest and the power of collective action through lawful means.

We also urge the state government to continue to provide platforms for dialogue and to address the legitimate concerns of its citizens in a transparent and accountable manner. By fostering an environment where every voice is heard and respected, we can build a more inclusive and prosperous Lagos State.

In conclusion, we reaffirm our dedication to peace, unity, and progress. Let us all stand together, reject violence, and embrace constructive engagement as we work towards a brighter future for Lagos State.

Yours sincerely,
