OPEN LETTER TO TUNDE OLADUNJOYE-THE DOUBLE-FACED JANUS

Open letter to TUNDE OLADUNJOYE- the double-faced JANUS,
As a matter of personal censorship, I don’t respond to online rants.
However, the reckless mudslinging released in a scathing article by you a few days ago got my attention. And requires a reaction, as a lesson in proper public conduct.
Firstly, you Oladunjoye claimed in the article that I sold my “soul” as a Pastor, for stepping down for LADI ADEBUTU in the last elections.
Secondly, you brazenly claimed that I was paid 150m to step down in the Gubernatorial election by ADEBUTU. You also spiced the tales by moonlight, by claiming the Chairman of SDP in OGUN STATE ended up hospitalized because I ran away with the imaginary payment.
I would have ignored this ill-conceived and infantile diatribe from a known fifth columnist. I however chose to respond because you took hammer to, not only my public integrity with the claim of fraud, but you also fought very dirty by stepping on my spiritual integrity.
Tunde, let me thank you for personally sending your filth to my WhatsApp so that I can read how you chose to dance naked in the media against a man that has not disparaged you in any way or form. Yes, I even read it in the media before your personal service.
It’s amusing the way you made it sound as if my support for ADEBUTU is a major secret you are leaking to the public. Really?
When I decided to step down for ADEBUTU, weeks to the elections backed by our support base, I hosted a major press conference declaring the new stand of myself and the party in the state. I informed the public that our decision, in light of our shortfall in logistics, was based on the synergy between the SDP blue print and the PDP manifesto.
Let me also remind you that I also led a coalition of ten political parties in the state to declare unflinching support for PDP in full glare of the press and public. I have made numerous official releases in this regard, since the elections till date.
Is it not amusing for you to now insinuate it’s an expose you are serving the people of Ogun State.
As a “journalist” you should have known it is defamatory for you to claim that I obtained 150m. Unless you are ready to furnish the courts the receipt of the payment.
I am undecided on this because I worry for your financial sustenance, if the courts impose damages. How the crumbs you pick up from being Chairman of OGTV and ferrying Muslims to Mecca as a member of the Pilgrims Board, will affect your finances, if taken away.
Let me remind you of my integrity scale.
1. I served as Commissioner for environment under GBENGA DANIEL and I left without a single blemish. We are still good friends till today.
2. Under the present DAPO ABIODUN tenure I was appointed Chairman Gateway Trading Company. I was also appointed Environmental Safeguard Specialist on the World Bank OGSTEP in Ogun State. A 250 million dollar project.
3. I resigned both appointments because I could not function under the inefficiency, heavy handedness of your principal and an administration that lacks attention to developmental grassroots works.
In the second part of your ill-advised release, you ashamedly attempted to ridicule my religious status as a Pastor in the Lords Vineyard. Pray, what is the correlation between my being a Pastor and my political choice?
Are you so blinded by your eye service that you forget that the constitution of Nigeria guarantees freedom of association including political affiliation? Were there not many Muslims who crossed carpet? Did that make them less pious?
You made this point because you are a religious bigot and a fundamentalist. I chose to work with LADI ADEBUTU because that’s the injunction I received from the throne of Grace.
Why did I refer to you as a double-faced JANUS, as the title of this article?
It is because a few top members of Ogun State Leaders withing and outside your party, who you trust and hold in confidence know how you privately disparage the person of DAPO ABIODUN and his abysmal administrative style.
You have complained privately on his inaccessibility to even the most important aides, his disdain for advice, and personal arrogance.
Tunde Oladunye it is sad that, to save your token appointments in Ogun state Government, you abandoned your fake public stand as a grassroots politician and failed to see the awesome courage being displayed by WALE ADEDAYO in defending the pillage of Local Government allocations in Ogun. A man who has chosen to risk his political status and the perks of office, to defend the people he took an oath to protect. Your fellow journalist. Silence on your part would have been golden.
One thing is as sure as the sun rises, that the day after the tenure of DAPO ABIODUN finishes he will still account for the billions allocated for the welfare of the people of Ogun at the local administration level.
That time his fair weather vuvuzelas like you, would have moved on to feast on the next victim. By the way, the Chairman of SDP Ogun state, who you claimed almost died because of me, was a principal contributor to my daughter’s wedding a few days ago. You can see him in blue dress in the pic above.
